Welcome to Starbase Frontier!
The Pytonia Passage is a neutral area of space between the borders of the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire and the xenophobic Tholian Assembly. Situated on the very edge of known space, the area has often been in dispute between the three powers. In 2396, a joint program between Starfleet and the Klingon Defence Force, saw the creation of Starbase Frontier. Starbase Frontier sits at the very edge of the Pytonia Passage as a stepping stone for exploration, colonisation and defence efforts for both the Federation and Klingon Empire. As a joint program, both Starfleet and Klingon Defence Force Officers serve together in the running of the starbase and adjacent Takagi Shipyards.
The large Narendra Class Starbase boasts not only a intimidating prescence, but also some of the most advanced technology from both parties. The Federation Council and the Klingon High Council hope that this new jointly managed Starbase will permamently secure future relations between the Federation and Empire.
Starfleet and the Klingon Defence Force has assigned command of Starbase Frontier and its Garrison ships, the USS Kingfisher & IKS M'oQreH to Captain Kagami Izumi, a esteemed Starfleet Officer. This will be her biggest challenge, ensuring that a joint crew of Starfleet and Klingon officers work together in the pursuit of exploration and peace.

Previously, on Star Trek: Starbase Frontier:
"Yes, that would be me." Jane called out, standing up.
And now, the continuation:
"Right this way, please, Lieutenant," the doctor motioned, not even bothering with the usual pleasantries outside of what was absolutely required of her. "Standard onboarding protocol, just gotta ask a few questions, take a few samples, and then we'll have you cleared for duty."
"Hopefully, these will be the last samples anybody needs to take of me for a long time." Jane remarked with a sigh as she allowed herself to be led into sickbay.
"Well, protocol's a little different…

Mission: All Our Yesterdays
Posted on Thu Apr 23rd, 2026 @ 10:25pm by Lieutenant "Joliet" Jane Cooke & Lieutenant Maki Nishikino 'Bones'
After Jane's successful reporting in (though, Jane would dare to say more than successful), her next stop was sickbay to be properly cleared for duty. On her way, the Lieutenant had switched things up and was now singing an old western song as she arrived in the sickbay waiting room:
"An old cowpoke went riding out one dark and windy day... Upon a ridge he rested as he went along his way..."
Out of the corner of her eye, she observed a door opening just off to her right and what looked to be a rather sleep-deprived nurse emerged, brandishing…

Previously, on Star Trek: Starbase Frontier:
He had to think for a moment there. "I think the classic thing to have would be a coke right?" He paused and then nodded. "Yes, let's go all in. A coke is fine."
And now, the continuation:
"We have Pepsi products." The waitress responded. "Pepsi okay?"
"Pepsi it is." William said with a smile.
"Then I'll have a Starry." Jane ordered.
The waitress looked at them both for a moment before repeating the order back. "Large deep dish sausage, A pepsi and a Starry." She nodded as she recited. "I'll be right back…

Mission: All Our Yesterdays
Posted on Thu Mar 26th, 2026 @ 12:11am by Lieutenant "Joliet" Jane Cooke & Lieutenant William Neil
Having both reported in and gotten her checkup done, Jane felt like she was on a hot streak. Despite this, she wasn't quite ready to tear into the records of her Klingon predecessor just yet, and decided instead that a good meal was in order, and maybe some time on the holodeck afterwards to clear her thoughts.
Understanding that this was a joint Federation-Klingon station, Jane decided for now to stick to the Federation areas. There would be a time that she would eventually have to make herself known to the Klingons, but now wasn't that time.
As Jane perused…

It was the start of Alpha Shift on Starbase Frontier. Today was just a normal Tuesday, there was nothing expected to be going on today. No ships were due to dock or depart, and there was no signs of any Tholian or Gorn activity.
The doors of Main Operations opened and in walked Captain Kagami Izumi. She held a cup of hot coffee in one hand as she entered the room. "Morning everyone. What we got today?" she asked.
The Delta Shift crew, for once, was in relatively high spirits- a stark turnaround from just a month ago, where it…

Computer, begin log.
I have a scan fifteen minutes to myself following my introduction to Captain Kagami Izumi. She is a straight to the point Captain and at one point attempted to verbally corner me concerning my past. Had I not been any other Officer, I'd likely of blurted out the secrets to my past. Thankfully I am far more disciplined than that. She is clever.
I will spent five minutes on call with my mate to discuss issues. Then I will report to the briefing scheduled at 0900 today.
Computer, end log.

Twyla rounded the corner and assumed her best tactical posture. As she raised the rifle to her shoulder she scanned the area for possible enemy targets. As she did she noted several good cover and concealment locations she could occupy on route to her objective. The words of her instructors rang in her ear. ‘Follow your training’ !
The mission permitters were clear. Suit up for a one man rescue mission. Get beamed in from a shuttle. Orientate map & locate target area. Engage hostiles as necessary and advance to the target area. All the while reserving enough power to…
